Yummie truffles

The other weekend we were invited to a dinner party and because I don't like to come empty handed I made some chocolate truffles with chili.  Of course I made a whole bunch so my kids could have a taste too!


Finally I wrapped my gift and made a lovely heart garland.  Lately I feel like crocheting so I looked on the internet for "crochet hearts".  It's really easy to make and fun to do!

A friend of mine just celebrated a very special birthday.  She loves hearts and I love making birds, so this is what I made for her.

Funny geckos

To make my walls happy, I felted colourful geckos.  Now they are crawling towards my ceiling.  When I look at them, it almost feels as though I'm on holiday on a tropical island.  A great feeling!!

My son's needlework

My son was so proud when he finished his needlework that he insisted I put it on my blog.  Who says boys aren't handy enough to use wool and a needle??

One of the advantages of living in the countryside is seeing these lovely fields while driving my kids to school.  Despite all the damage we bring to nature, it still gives us these amazing views.
